Who did you need to be and who are you becoming?

I listened to a Tony Robbins podcast yesterday during my morning run. Say what you will about the man, he’s compelling.

I’ve been a runner most of my life and running for me is often (not always!) a meditative experience, where I find my mind quiet and receptive to new ideas and able to mentally connect the dots of life.

While listening to our good friend Tony yesterday he said something that really struck me and I had one of those a-ha moments.

He asked the host which parents love he craved most as a young child growing up. And then he asked the host who did he need to be to ‘earn’ that parents love.

Tony then went on to say that the people we grow up idolizing or being intrigued by, often represent a ‘repressed’ side of our self. A self we needed to ‘dim down’ to ‘earn’ the love we desired as a child.

Huh. Interesting.

Not to turn this into a discourse on psychology, but I found that idea fascinating.

One of the people that has fascinated me more than any other on this planet, and still does to this very day, is Madonna.

She is the undisputed queen of reinvention and the queen of provocation. She sheds her old self image and steps into the new one without batting an eye. She is powerful. She is not afraid to speak her mind and is not worried about offending others.

So I had a little chuckle to myself as I reflected on the fact that the group program I’m in the midst of rolling out is called………Image Reinvention.

Coincidence?

According to Mr. Tony Robbins, no!

I’d like to extend a big heartfelt welcome to the 10 women that have already joined and have said yes to stepping into the next version of themselves, their more powerful, more free to express, beautiful self.

And to invite you in to join us, if you feel the need for a change. To shed the old and step into the new. Maybe it’s a small tweak you’re after, maybe it’s something bigger.

While the early bird pricing is now over, between now and our start date of March 14th you can still sign up at half the cost of what the full program will run at in the future.

and let’s connect.

Yours in reinventions both big and small,
Adrienne xoxo
